Born in North Carolina and currently residing in Rock Hill, SC, Donna has been a part of the region’s developing real estate market for many years. She has owned and operated a tiling company, a real estate firm and mortgage company, an advertising magazine, and is experienced in contracting and renovations, and has been investing since 2003.

Following careers in Human Resources, Operations Management, Management of Stock Brokers, Sales Force, and Subcontractors, Donna began purchasing run-down, neglected houses and renovating them for resale or rentals. In her first eighteen months, she bought twenty-four properties -- and sold each one at a substantial profit.

Her expertise includes purchasing properties with little or no credit, hard money loans, partnership investing, private mortgages, and maximizing the return on a renovation.

After purchasing her first property at auction, Donna established partnerships with other investors. Thereby creating the foundation for Kocurek Capital Investments, LLC. She sold her real estate businesses to specialize in investing and in 2004 began teaching other women how to invest in and renovate properties, as well as sell or lease them. Presently her company has a clientele of women and men who are interested in establishing or developing their real estate investment portfolios.

Donna appreciates the blessings in life and is strong in her faith. Raised in a childhood of neglect and having suffered abuse as a teenager, she has faced difficult times with great strength and determination. She believes in giving back to her community and helps others create new lives by mentoring women of all ages and backgrounds. Women that have made mistakes or poor choices, then ended up in jail, and need someone to encourage them to pursue their dreams – and someone to teach them how.

The mother of two daughters, Krystal and Brooke, Donna is marred to Aaron Kocurek. They live in Rock Hill and have a home in Texas.
